Description:

Drum, Combination Head, TIMESAVERS 2-Head, 52" width cap. - 1st Head: Contact roll 11-1/2" dia., rubber covered, 70-80 durometer, 50 HP motor.2nd Head: Combination head with 6" Dia. rubber covered contact roll (60-65 duro) and a 2-1/2" wide platen for veneer sanding, 30 HP motor. 5,000 RPM abrasive belt speed on first head and 2,800 RPM on the second head, 52" x 75" Abrasive belts with air tensioning, "POSI-TRACK" solid-state electronic abrasive belt sensing. Conveyor belt feed system, automatic conveyor belt tracking, variable feed speed 15 - 45 FPM. Double infeed & outfeed rubber covered spring loaded holddown rolls on both heads, motorized thickness adjustment with automatic part thickness setup, 0" - 6" opening with mechanical digital readout. Complete with: Infeed loading area, air operated disc brakes on sanding heads, over thick panel shutoff on infeed, operator activated emergency stop, controls mounted on belt loading side, motor load meters.
