Single-sided, 6-station feed through machine for sanding the edge on all types of profiled products.
Stations 1 - 4: Triangular belt sanding unit, max. belt dimensions 114" x 3-1/2", inverter controlled variable belt speed via 2 KW (2.7 HP) motor, sanding unit tilts from -30° to +100°, 4-3/4" dust hood. Belt sanding units have automatic belt cleaning through air blowers & oscillation option when sanding straight edges to enhance belt life. All units have mechanical digital readouts for major adjustments to allow easy accurate setup. Automatic feed through system, variable feed speed from 10 to 116 FPM, 6.4 HP (4.8 KW) drive, 3" steel chain with non-marking rubber pads, track running on (2) guides (one prismatic, one circular guide), upper holddown beam with spring loaded nylon covered rollers. Stations 5 - 6: 2.4 HP (1.8 KW) top/bottom brush sanding heads which can accept flexible sanding wheels and profiled sanding wheels. Separate operator control panel with quick disconnect harnesses. - Total length 22' L and 5' W.
