Description:

CAM-WOOD - KT3.4 RRS, ...Edgebander. Compact - Single Sided (mfg. in Italy).

0.4 mm - 3 mm Max. edge thickness cap., 10 mm - 40 mm panel thickness cap. (when edgebanding 3 mm PVC max. thickness is 30 mm). Automatic feed of coil banding and semi-automatic strip fed magazine (strips 1 - 3 mm max.) with 3 mm PVC cap. guillotine. Teflon Coated glue pot w/fast (10 - 12) Min heat-up time. Guillotine unit to cut edgebanding in coils up to 3 mm thick.

Workstations: Single end trimming Saw unit using High Frequency motor. Cutting group moves on rounded ways made of hardened steel, to guarantee high precisoin and reliability. Cutting movement from the top of the panel is synchronized by the PLC control, adjustable copier prevents chipping. Top & bottom High Frequency Trim station (0.46 HP - 12,000 RPM HF motors). Unit features - adjustable copying on vertical & horizontal floating movements, adjustable cutting position by mechanical digital indicator, and quick release (electrical & mechanical). Includes (2) 3 mm radius cutters. Top & Bottom 3 mm Super Finish PVC/ABS Scrape station with quick working exclusion of both top & bottom units, micrometer adjustment; features thick chrome plated copying shoes, body of unit is cast iron to ensure vibration-free scraping during operation. Top & Bottom Buffing unit with 0.13 kW (0.17 HP - 2,800 RPM) motors.

Features: 0.35 HP Feed drive for a feed rate of 26 FPM; feed chain pads with replaceable rubberized surface inserts. Special design "track frame" to eliminate feed chain side-to-side movement after years of use. Rubberized holddown rollers with ball bearings for low friction and long life. Sound enclosure protects the operator from noise and debris.
