Protech PT-7 Radius Former for accurately fabricating curved laminates such as arched headers and radiused moldings for windows and doors, furniture parts, etc. The PT-7 solves these problems and can produce a wide range of shapes up to 4 1/2" thick and 7" wide with separate forms
Specifications: Minimum inside diameter of 12" and a maximum diameter of 96". Maximum inside arch height is 54", maximum part thickness is 4 1/2", maximum part width is 7"
Machined rails support dual sets of heavy aluminum arms to act as forms for various shape pieces. These arms are easily adjustable assisting in setting up various shapes
(32) Pneumatic clamps, each with manual control and a special quick connect fitting, apply clamping pressure to the parts for laminating, Standard compressed air, at pressures up to 200 psi, is connected to the clan via a quick disconnect
Capabilities:
Clamp is energized using a self-contained valve that permits the air supply to be disconnected after actuation
Does not require any specific forms or fixed shapes
Depending on the size of the component and the adhesive used the heat band can cure the assembly in as little as 20 minutes
Operates with either cold curing of glues or with the optional heat bands for faster curing times
NOTE: The above specs are taken from literature and considered accurate. As always please take advantage of the inspection period to verify.
